What size brace should I get?

Check out our recommended sizing guide here. Our medium size will fit most individuals comfortably, but those with petite feet or thinner ankles may want to consider a small. Individuals of larger stature such as athletes or people with swollen ankles may want to consider a large.

How do I put on the brace?

It's as easy as 1-2-3. Slide your foot into the ankle brace, thread the upper straps, and then load the ankle brace. For more detailed instructions and video guidance, check out the support page.

Should I wear a sock underneath the brace?

Yes, we recommend wearing a sock underneath the Vero Ankle® brace. Even though our brace is made of flexible and breathable materials, many patients find it more comfortable to wear a sock underneath. Wearing a sock also prevents chafing during high-performance activities.

Can I wash the ankle brace?

Yes, you can wash the Vero Ankle® brace. We recommend that you hand-wash with warm water and mild soap. Rinse well to remove all soap residue. Air dry. Do not expose the device to direct heat or sunlight while drying to prevent damage.

Is your brace sold in stores?

Unfortunately, our brace is not yet sold in stores. We are working hard to make it happen in the near future. You can also ask your physician to carry our product.

The size I want is out of stock, how long until it’s back?

We manufacture our brace in batches based on demand, so we may be out of a certain size for a few weeks. We usually restock all sizes within 2-3 weeks of selling out.

How long should I wear the brace?

The Vero Ankle® brace can be worn for both recovery and maintenance phases post injury. Always consult your physician before wearing the Vero Ankle® brace as well as for recommended recovery timelines. Typically a brace can be worn between 8-12 weeks after an acute ankle sprain and indefinitely post recovery.

I have wide feet or ankles. What size should I get?

If you are between sizes and aren’t sure which version to get, we recommend starting by referencing our sizing guide here. If you are still unsure, we recommend sizing up.

Is the Vero Ankle® brace PDAC approved?

Yes, the Vero Ankle® brace is PDAC approved. Our assigned HCPCS code is L1902.
