Dr. David Kay is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon and inventor. He is the founder of OrthoHelix, a company dedicated to the design and development of innovative orthopedic devices. Dr. Kay's work at OrthoHelix has led to multiple patents for new medical devices, including a patented system for the treatment of distal radius fractures and a patented method for the reduction and fixation of fractures of the proximal humerus as well as a complete platform for foot and ankle reconstruction. In addition to his work in industry, Dr. Kay has also made significant contributions to the field of orthopedic surgery through his numerous publications in respected medical journals. He is in clinical practice at Crystal Clinic in Akron, Ohio and is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Northeast Ohio University of Medicine. He is highly respected in the medical community for his expertise and dedication to advancing the field of orthopedic surgery through the development of new and improved medical devices. Dr. Kay continues to work as an orthopedic surgeon, and also serves as a consultant to medical device companies. He is also the founder of Resivant Medical and Surgical Targeted Solutions.
