Dr. David Kay is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon and inventor. He is the founder of OrthoHelix, a company dedicated to the design and development of innovative orthopedic devices. Dr. Kay's work at OrthoHelix has led to multiple patents for new medical devices, including a patented system for the treatment of distal radius fractures and a patented method for the reduction and fixation of fractures of the proximal humerus as well as a complete platform for foot and ankle reconstruction. In addition to his work in industry, Dr. Kay has also made significant contributions to the field of orthopedic surgery through his numerous publications in respected medical journals. He is in clinical practice at Crystal Clinic in Akron, Ohio and is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Northeast Ohio University of Medicine.
